ABOUT LUDIC BOUTIQUE
Ludic, it means to be spontaneous or playful and that is what this boutique is all about. It’s those bottoms you buy and strut around, making everyone’s heads turn. It’s the tops that are a little bit out of the norm, but you feel confident in.
I wanted a name that not many people would know what it meant. A word that describes the items we are selling and become out of the box pieces to own. This boutique was always an idea I wanted to do but never had the guts to start. When COVID-19 struck, I had lost my job and didn’t know what to do. After months of designing and coming up with a unique name, I finally pulled the trigger and started my long time dream.
Ludic Boutique is an online shop for men and women to browse and buy clothing and accessories that are fashionable and reasonably priced. Ludic has the classic section, where you can buy funky tops, bottoms, outerwear, dresses and accessories like most boutiques have. However, I created a section called “The Thrift Shop”, that allows customers to shop items that are “one of a kind”. I personally hand pick and purchase items from local Goodwill and thrift shops around Connecticut and sell these items at a reduced price.
Ludic isn’t like most boutiques and the vintage section along with men’s clothing, sets us apart from other boutiques. It is a one of a kind shop and appeals to everyone and we want people to feel confident yet comfortable in their own skin and especially their clothes!
